Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has won a first order for the recently launched 6MW model of its EnVentus platform for a wind project in Finland.
Finnish developer Ilamater Energy has placed a 74MW order for its Rasakangas and Voimamylly projects.
The OEM will supply eight of its V162-6.0MW machines to Rasakangas, in combination with 129-metre towers and a 30-year service agreement.
