Anna Borg has been appointed new president and CEO of Vattenfall, replacing Magnus Hall, who announced in July he was stepping down.
Borg, Vattenfall’s current CFO, had previously served as senior vice president for the Swedish utility’s business area markets, as well as leading its Nordic sales unit and its European B2C operations.
“Anna Borg has a broad and deep experience that makes her very well suited to be CEO at Vattenfall,” said Vattenfall’s chairman of the board, Lars Nordström.
