Swedish utility Vattenfall has signed a long-term agreement to provide balancing services for the 211MW Piiparinmäki wind project, which is slated to become Finland’s largest once it is fully operational in 2022.
Investor Glennmont Partners last year had acquired the wind farm – one of Europe’s largest support free projects – which is expected to have an annual output of about 700GWh.
