Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Siemens Financial Services have invested in the SOO Green Renewable Rail project, a development-stage transmission project that seeks to bring several gigawatts of renewable power from Iowa towards larger markets near Chicago.
CIP, Siemens and US construction firm Jingoli Power have become the “main investors” in SOO Green, a project spokesperson confirms to Recharge. Financial terms were not disclosed.
