The firm has already had one of its schemes rejected by a local council after a high-profile public outcry over the potential visual consequences of placing wind turbines in a region widely viewed as one of England’s most beautiful.
The three new proposed sites – to be known as ‘Stonechest’, ‘Black Knors’, and ‘Mossgrove’ – would generate a combined 120 megawatts, with each site holding 10-20 turbines.
