UK's 100MW Scarweather Sands offshore wind project scrapped

DONG and E.ON have formally pulled the plug on the 100-megawatt Scarweather Sands project near Wales, one of the most controversial offshore wind farms slated to be sited in UK waters. The developers have determined it is “no longer commercially viable”.
