Energy ministers from the UK and Belgium this week discussed possible future interconnection of North Sea offshore wind, they told an industry event, as the momentum grows for cross-border flow of renewable power to help nations meet their climate and energy goals.

UK energy minister Kwasi Kwarteng and his Belgian counterpart Tinne Van der Straeten told the Wind TV conference at WindEnergy Hamburg that North Sea co-operation was discussed when they spoke on Monday.
