The German-Norwegian engineering outfit, which for the past 18 months has been running a 3.4MW onshore model north of Husum, Germany, is exploring “two main options”: a jacket-mounted model built with a Y-shaped tower topped with a pair of turbines, or a twin-headed floating concept.
