German utility EnBW and compatriot engineering outfit Aerodyn Engineering have moved a 1:10-scale prototype of a novel floating wind platform mounted with two wind turbines to a location in the Baltic Sea for final tests before building a full-size version of the design.
The two companies had trialed the 18-metre tall unit, called Nezzy², in a flooded gravel pit near Bremerhaven.
