Floating wind pioneer Hexicon plans to deploy a pilot project off Norway in another planned outing for the group’s distinctive twin-headed turbine platform.
Sweden-based Hexicon signed a deal with the Norwegian Marine Energy Test Centre (Metcentre) over deployment of 6MW in a test area the latter is planning off the nation’s southern coast.
The partners plan to advance the demonstrator project, called TwinWay, based on Hexicon’s technology.
