Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria are the most likely countries bordering the Eastern Mediterranean, Black and Caspian Seas to build offshore wind farms thanks to political backing at home and by the EU, analyst Aegir Insights said when launching its coverage of eight countries across the region.
Interest in the region has increased after the EU in its offshore renewable energies strategy launched last year for the first time had mentioned the Black Sea.
