Turbines and foundations for first offshore wind farm in US federal waters are en route to their project site off Virginia, where developers Dominion Energy and Orsted are building the 12MW Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) pilot.

The EEW SPC monopiles, transition pieces and anode cages, fabricated in Rostock, Germany, and the components for two 6MW Siemens Gamesa turbines, loaded out in Esberg, Denmark, left manfacuturing facilities in mid-April on cargo ships, for delivery.
