Vestas chief executive Henrik Andersen and his chief financial officer (CFO) Hans Martin Smith have hinted at an upcoming order spree for onshore wind turbines in Australia and the US.
Andersen called Australia the “dominating factor” in the Pacific region and praised the company’s good relationship with the local grid operator AEMO, which often approves applications for wind projects towards the end of the year.
