Swedish start-up Modvion unveiled Stora Enso – one of the world’s largest timber groups – as its latest partner in its quest to establish wooden turbine towers as a sustainable option for future wind farm developments.
Finland-based Stora Enso, also one of the planet’s biggest private forest owners, signed a letter of intent with Modvion to look at ways they can jointly “push boundaries and demonstrate the possibilities with wood”.
