Denmark’s PKA, a pension funds manager with around €35bn ($39.8bn) of assets under management, was an early-mover in its industry to see potential in backing offshore wind projects, a sector where it now has about €1.2bn of investments. Its 300,000 members are mainly public employees in the health and social sector, and it has invested in wind alongside Danish and German investors.
