The A$572m ($600m) expansion will be spearheaded by its Australian subsidiary Ratch-Australia, according to chief executive Noppol Milinthanggoon.
"We have a goal to invest in at least three wind energy projects with a total production volume of 200MW from an existing 100MW capacity," he says.
Australia has strong wind on its coasts and its government is supportive of renewable energy development, offering several investment incentives, Noppol notes.
