Taiwan raised its offshore wind ambitions by 5GW when the Taipei government unveiled plans for auctions for the next wave of installations from 2026, in a move that keeps it firmly in the front rank of Asian growth.
Taiwanese officials now plan to spur installation of 15GW of offshore wind in the 2026-35 period at a rate of around 1.5GW
