“The 100% growth in our installations in India is higher than the 43% growth achieved by the industry,” Suzlon chairman Tulsi Tanti said in an emailed statement.
The Pune-based turbine OEM’s cumulative installations now stand at roughly 15.5GW, with 9.5GW of the total in India.
It commissioned 520MW in the fourth quarter alone, pushing its share of the market for the year to 27%, from 19% a year earlier.
