The Indian wind giant’s Chicago-based North American subsidiary tallies nine projects in seven states. In addition to construction employment, the company says more than 50 long-term maintenance jobs will result from the new installations.
Customers include Duke Energy and Iberdrola Renewables.
The turbines to be deployed are primarily the company’s S88 2.1MW model.
Suzlon’s current installed base in the US stands at 1,750MW.
