SunEdison finalises $2.4bn acquisition of First Wind

SunEdison and its yieldco TerraForm Power have closed their $2.4bn acquisition of First Wind, in a deal that brings 521MW of operating renewables capacity and an 8.6GW development-stage pipeline into the ever-growing SunEdison empire.
