In a terse 8K financial statement to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the once high-flying Missouri-based company says that Chatila notified it 16 June of his decision to resign.
He had been chief executive and a director of SunEdison since March 2009.
Chatila will not receive severance payments and his resignation was not due to any disagreement with SunEdison, the statement says.
