The financing facility is for $360m, and the total construction cost is $420m.  KeyBanc Capital Markets served as the joint lead arranger.

Vestas will supply 3.3MW turbines for the project.

Eversource, National Grid and Unitil will purchase the electricity under separate 15-year agreements awarded in a competitive bidding process. The project will generate power for about 65,000 homes.

Once online, Bingham will boost SunEdison’s installed wind capacity in Maine to 552MW.
