Suncor, the largest company in Canada by revenue, will have a 75% stake in the project east of Strathroy in southwestern Ontario, with the Aamjiwnaang holding the remainder.
“This partnership is an opportunity for us to continue to work together with the Aamjiwnaang First Nation on our shared energy future,” says Jim Provias, vice president, renewable energy, at Suncor.
The project will utilize 18 2.3MW
