The Power & Water division boosted equipment orders by 29% year-on-year in the April to June period, with renewables showing a 24% growth.
Renewables contributed a 53% revenue increase to Power & Water’s overall 8% growth to $6.8bn.
Wind turbine orders were 888 units in the second quarter, up from 715 a year earlier.
Q2 turbine sales stood at 806, ahead of the 510 in the year-ago same three months.
