Statkraft is planning its first own wind farm in Germany as part of a massive global wind and solar power expansion at Europe’s biggest renewable energy producer, which currently generates most electricity from hydro power.
The Norwegian company is developing a 36MW wind farm in a forest area near Oedelsheim in Germany’s Hesse state that it plans to commission in 2025.
