Norway’s Statkraft, Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy, has acquired a wind power portfolio comprising 39 wind farms in Germany and France from operator Breeze Three Energy.
The Norwegian utility, which still is largely hydro-power dominated in its generation fleet, with the purchase pursues a strategy of ramping up as a wind and solar developer and become one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies.
