'State-of-the-art for subsidy-free': EnBW closes in on Vestas giant for He Dreiht offshore wind

Vestas has secured a conditional order to equip EnBW’s 900MW He Dreiht project in the German part of the North Sea with 64 of its flagship V236-15.0 MW turbines.

The order comes after EnBW mid last year had already pre-selected Vestas to supply the subsidy-free German offshore wind project.

“Only with state-of-the-art and cost-efficient technology we can realise offshore projects like He Dreiht without subsidies.
