SSE Renewables melds Berwick Bank to build Scottish offshore wind giant

Plans to build what at 4.1GW would be one of the world’s largest offshore wind projects off Scotland have been unveiled by UK utility SSE Renewables.

The proposed Berwick Bank Wind Farm off Scotland’s east coast is an amalgam of two existing developments into a single project, which SSE hopes to have operational during the second half of the decade.
