In addition, the two firms have agreed a deal that will see BiFab supply Scottish and Southern, considered one of the UK's 'big six' energy utilties, with at least 50 jacket foundations for its pipeline of offshore wind projects.
BiFab, which manufactures subsea structures and equipment, is widely seen as one of the most successful examples of a UK company once dedicated exclusively to offshore oil and gas having widened its scope to include renewables.
