SSE buys stake in BiFab, nails down offshore supply chain

Scottish and Southern Energy will spend £11m ($16.9m) buying a 15% equity stake in Scotland’s Burntisland Fabrication (BiFab), one of the leading makers of jacket-style foundations for the offshore wind industry.
