A South Korean steel group has picked a site on the Humber in northeast England for what it’s billing as the world’s largest offshore wind foundation plants.
SeAH Steel Holdings signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the developer of the Able Marine Energy Park (AMEP) to build the plant, which from 2023 would provide UK-built foundations for the next wave of giant offshore wind developments in British waters.
