Soluna Technolgies has launched plans to next year start building the first phase of what could eventually be a 900MW wind farm to power a utility-scale blockchain computing facility in the Morocco-administered Western Sahara.

The project, near Dakhla in the disputed territory of southern Morocco, will cover some 37,000 acres in one of the world’s windiest regions enabling the company to own sustainable energy resources along with the blockchain computing facility.
