SoftBank invests $7m in Altaeros' airborne wind turbine

Telecoms group SoftBank has agreed to invest $7m in Altaeros Energies and has signaled that it may eventually deploy the US high-altitude wind power developer’s Buoyant Airborne Turbine (BAT) technology in Japan.
