Sinovel orders 5MW turbine parts, targeting full production in 2011

Chinese wind turbine giant Sinovel Wind Group has ordered electrical control systems for its forthcoming 5 megawatt (MW) machine from American Superconductor (AMSC) and plans to install a prototype within 12 months.
