Orsted has entered four partnerships in Spain to pursue early-stage solar and onshore wind projects in upcoming grid auctions expected for mid-2022, and said it has multi-gigawatt ambitions in what it considers one of Europe’s largest renewables markets.
The partnerships with Glide Energy, Rolwind, ARBA Energías Renovables, and Ereda, will support project development and services. The local companies have extensive experience in greenfield development and form a complementary geographical footprint, the Danish utility said.
