Siemens Gamesa has won a first order for turbines of its 5.XMW platform in the booming Finnish wind power market.
The German-Spanish OEM will supply 14 of its SG 5.8-155 machines to the Alajoki-Peuralinna project in central Finland to wind power company Suomen Hyötytuuli, with which it already has worked on both onshore and offshore wind projects in the Nordic country.
