Siemens Gamesa will halt its onshore wind sales operation in China and raise turbine prices by up to 5%, CEO Andreas Nauen told German media.

The global wind OEM giant – which is struggling to turn around its troubled onshore business – will also review its operations in Russia and Turkey, Nauen told Germany’s Wirtschafts Woche business weekly.

"We are giving up local direct business in China because it is no longer of interest to us," Nauen said.
