Investors have shunned Siemens Gamesa shares amid reports the wind turbine manufacturer has opened bidding for the sale of its 3GW wind project development business.
The deal according to the Reuters news agency could be worth about €300m ($339m). But it may also be interpreted as a sign the loss-making OEM is scrambling for cash to return to profitability.
The company had no comment when contacted by Recharge.
