Siemens Gamesa will install the first batch of its new 5MW model in a repowering project on the Danish island of Thyholm, close to the Limfjord fjord in Denmark.
The OEM will deliver three SG 5.0-132 turbines for the 15MW Torp Vindemoellepark wind farm in the municipality of Struer, which will be the second wind farm in Denmark to be operated without subsidies.
