Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) has firmed a second wind turbine order in Russia from Italian utility Enel, for the supply of 201MW at the Kola wind project in the north-western Murmansk region.
The order follows up on a framework agreement signed with Enel in 2017 for 291MW to two wind projects in Russia. Enel had already firmed a first order for over 90MW for the Azovskaya project in October 2018.
