Siemens Gamesa has appointed its former managing director for Germany and head of offshore sales and projects, Marc Becker, as its new chief executive for offshore wind.
He will replace interim offshore CEO Pierre Bauer on 1 February next year and be based in Hamburg, following several months of an executive overhaul at the global leader in offshore wind turbine sales.
