The last piece of the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) supply chain puzzle was fitted on Monday with a firm deal between Siemens Gamesa and Dominion Energy for the delivery of 176 SG-14-222 turbines to the largest project so far planned in US waters.

The developer of the 2.6GW CVOW project, Dominion Energy Virginia, a subsidiary of Dominion Energy, announced the signing of a formal contract with the OEM, confirming a long-standing “preferred supplier” agreement.
