The German OEM will supply 105 of its SWT-2.3-108 machines to Broadview – a twin-site project split between Curry County, New Mexico (241MW) and Deaf Smith County, Texas (83MW).
Finance arm Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is providing loans totaling $100m for the project, said a statement from the German group, which will produce blades and nacelles for the plant at its factories in Fort Madison, Iowa and Hutchinson, Kansas.
