German wind installer and service provider SSC Wind has filed for insolvency with a local court in Delmenhorst after delays and construction freezes at planned wind farms and the troubles at wind turbine OEM Senvion weighed on its liquidity.
Senvion’s insolvency in self-administration has led to a major loss of claims at SSC Wind, insolvency administrator Tim Beyer from the Schultze & Braun law firm said.
