Germany-based wind OEM Senvion is slated to earn less from firm orders won in 2018 despite a 16%-rise in volumes due to declining unit prices per turbine.

The company’s full-year intake of firm orders amounts to €1.52bn ($1.75bn), down from €1.78bn in 2017, although the volume of orders rose to 2.01GW in 2018 from 1.74GW a year earlier. The 2017 figures include offshore turbine orders, while no offshore orders were won in 2018.
