Germany-based wind OEM Senvion has secured the “notice to proceed” with the construction of the 86MW second phase of Nexif Energy’s 212MW Lincoln Gap wind project in South Australia.
Stage two of the project near Port Augusta will add 24 of the manufacturer’s 3.6M140 machines that are slated to be operational by mid-2020.
The construction of a 35-turbine first stage of Lincoln Gap is already well underway.
