The co-developers expect a total investment of about NKr1.2bn ($146m) in the onshore project, which the country’s wind industry body said could be followed by about 900MW in further positive investment decisions over the next year.

Construction for the project has already begun, and is expected to be concluded by the third quarter of 2017.
