Semco seals 'breakthrough' Taiwan deal for Northland Hai Long offshore wind substations

Danish offshore installation contractor Semco Maritime has set the seal on a turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) deal for the gigascale Hai Long wind project being developed by a Northland Power-led consortium off the Taiwanese coast.

Under the agreement, which confirms a preferred supplier contract inked late last year, the duo will build and install two substations for the Hai Long 2 and 3 projects, located some 50km offshore in the Taiwan Strait.
