Scotland’s energy minister is tackling the UK government after claiming Scottish offshore wind projects were “squeezed out” in Britain’s latest renewable energy auction.
Speaking at Scottish Renewables’ offshore wind conference in Glasgow, Paul Wheelhouse said a lack of success in the most recent contracts-for-difference (CfD) auction was one of the factors preventing Scotland from reaping the full rewards from the sector.
