Macquarie’s Green Investment Group has appointed Samuel Leupold as the new chairman of its wind energy area, hoping to capitalize on his vast experience in offshore during his previous tenure as chief executive at Orsted Wind.
“Samuel has been a pivotal figure in the rapid development of the offshore wind industry,” said Mark Dooley, global had of GIG.
“We are delighted he is bringing that pioneering outlook and his deep understanding of the construction and industrial aspects of wind power to join GIG in our mission to accelerate the transition to a green global economy.”
