RWE is no longer pursuing plans to develop offshore wind projects in Taiwan or Italy, but will remain in the US and northern European market for wind at sea, CEO Markus Krebber said.
Unlike some of its rivals, the German energy giant hasn’t struggled with its offshore portfolio, also as it made an effort to purchase wind turbines on time, and reserve capacities for installation vessels soon enough, he told journalists during the company’s capital markets day Tuesday.
